McAfee aquires Trust Digital
On June 3, 2010, McAfee completed the acquisition of Trust Digital, a leading provider of enterprise mobility management (EMM®) and security software for Forbes Global 2000 companies.
Trust Digital delivers solutions that help enterprises quickly secure, deploy, and manage smartphones, protecting increasingly mobile workforces. The acquisition enables McAfee to bring industry-leading data protection, network access control, and security reporting and management to smartphones, and deliver the industry’s first comprehensive mobile security solution.
Bringing together best-in-class technologies, the acquisition establishes McAfee as a leader in mobile enterprise security and management, and extends McAfee’s reach beyond the traditional endpoint into the rapidly growing smartphone and tablet market, including iPhones, iPads, and Android devices.
